Made of HDPE 8mm thick plastic, the Xtrem skid plate offers a full protection to the cases, the frame until the footpegs and the linkage. Polyethylene plastic is 30 to 40% lighter than its equivalent in aluminum. It does not generate vibrations and does not undergo deformation. It will also be more resistant than carbon fiber skid plates.
