How it works Race Rubber installs easily over the stop switch to prevent accidental engagement. You can still use the stop switch with Race Rubber installed, but to shut off the sled, you’ll need to press and hold the button slightly longer.

Compatibility Race Rubber fits most Polaris and Ski-Doo button-style switches dating back to the 1980s, as well as all 2019–2023 Arctic Cat, Yamaha, and Lynx Boondocker models equipped with push-button stop switches.

Note Race Rubber is a universal model for all snowmobiles except 2023 Ski-Doo Gen5 and Lynx models, which use an updated stop switch design. These models require the shorter “short” version.

Safety notice We always recommend using a tether on your snowmobile and keeping it attached while riding. The stop switch should never be the only way to shut off the machine, for example in the case of a throttle issue or an accident.
