Rift Jacket

The Rift Jacket exists for one reason: winter safety on the water you cannot see. It is the first float assist GORE-TEX jacket in the world, and it does not need to be paired with floatation bibs to work – the float assistance is built into the jacket itself. For trail riders crossing frozen lakes, that is real peace of mind rather than a marketing line.

The Ascent Float System™ is a flexible, breathable closed cell foam integrated into specially mapped and channelled panels. Because the panels are mapped, you get floatation benefit without losing mobility or comfort. The foam does not absorb water, is perforated for breathability, is durable enough not to tear, and it adds 60 g of insulation power on top of the standard insulation – 240 g of total body insulation. Please note the jacket is not certified as a PFD by the U.S. Coast Guard.

The rest is a comprehensive trail snowmobile jacket. A GORE-TEX performance shell keeps you dry, full pit vents let you dump heat on a hard climb, and mesh hem and sleeve cuffs drain water instead of holding it. 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective material with biomotion placement makes your movement recognisable in the dark, and a removable hood, removable powder skirt and adjustable collar, cuffs and hem let you tune the jacket to the day.
