The BCA Dozer 2D is a larger version of the Dozer 1T design, built for snow safety professionals and backcountry enthusiasts who demand efficiency and durability. The larger D-grip handle provides excellent control and comfort for frequent digging. Featuring a low-profile stompable blade, lightweight cored-out handle, and the innovative ovo-concave shaft, this shovel is made for heavy use in demanding conditions.

The ovo-concave shaft is the first of its kind, designed to prevent breakage under leverage while improving grip even with gloves on. Inspired by the legendary D-2 EXT “Dozer” shovel, this updated design is stronger without adding weight. All BCA extendable models meet the UIAA standard for avalanche rescue shovels.
