Field Book

The Field Book is AIARE's so called blue book, a field notebook for avalanche safety in the backcountry. It was developed by the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) and it meets the standards of the American Avalanche Association (A3). The book has been redesigned for the new professional and recreational course format in North America.

It is printed on water-resistant paper, so it can be used outdoors in the snow. The book is in English.
