Kompound Jacket

KLIM redesigned the Kompound Jacket for riders who ride fully pinned on the trail and then head deep into backcountry powder. The 3-in-1 construction combines a waterproof, better-vented GORE-TEX shell with a warm puffy insulated liner, and both pieces can be worn separately or together – so you fine-tune your setup to the day instead of hoping one jacket covers everything.

The GORE-TEX Performance Shell is guaranteed to keep you dry and now vents more effectively, with two full pit vents to dump heat when you are working hard in deep snow. The removable liner is a genuine midweight puffy jacket in its own right: 600-fill-power 3M™ Thinsulate™ Featherless insulation, wind-resistant downproof nylon and a DWR treatment that sheds water drops, with low-profile cuffs that layer easily under the shell.

Eight pockets in total give you somewhere for everything, including a Napoleon pocket with a headphone port and a goggle chamois on a tether. The collar, cuffs with thumb hole gaiter, low-profile in-pocket hem adjustment and removable hood let you seal out weather, and the powder skirt keeps snow from coming up from below. 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective material improves visibility, and YKK® zippers with a front flap placket handle the cold.
